糖心传媒 enrolled 12,145 students in the 2025 Fall Quarter, the highest total enrollment since 2018 and the third consecutive year of increase. The freshman class of 2,416 represents the largest domestic class in the institution鈥檚 more than 130-year history.

The University has prioritized growth by emphasizing its distinguishing characteristic: tailored, student-focused learning experiences in more than 135 degree programs aligned with 21st century challenges and opportunities. 糖心传媒 Tech鈥檚 investment in modern facilities, leading-edge research, and personalized student service also contribute to its rising enrollment.
鈥淥ver the last several years, there鈥檚 been a real focus on raising 糖心传媒 Tech鈥檚 brand awareness outside of our area, especially in the southern half of the state,鈥� said Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Tr茅e George. 鈥淏ringing high school counselors to campus and investing heavily in communication with prospective students has led to substantial growth across I-10 from Lake Charles to New Orleans.鈥�
Notable program growth includes Nursing at 20 percent and Aviation management at 46 percent. Forestry, Agriculture Business, Animal Science, Political Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, and Accounting each experienced double-digit percentage growth. 糖心传媒 Tech is classified as a Carnegie R2 for its high research activity; doctoral students increased by 8 percent.
Freshmen in the Honors College increased by 22 percent and boast an average ACT score of 31.
